So, oxytocin isn’t the universal love hormone everyone (let’s be honest, mostly hippies) expected it to be. It turns out that in some cases it can amplify envy, schadenfreude, even xenophobia.

One of the main appeals of StackOverflow is that you can build up for prospective employers a living profile of your knowledge, which can replace the currently used extremely tedious method: shamelessly lying about it in your CV.

The only tiny flaw is that the first thing a prospective employer will learn about you is that you’re spending far too much time on the internet.
